who I am
Hi, I'm Aaron! As you can see by perusing my website, I'm a freelance graphic designer/artist/web developer. I live in Fargo, North Dakota with my wife, two kids, and our furred and feathered menagerie.
When I'm not shoveling snow, I spend the majority of my time developing web applications, designing websites, and on occasion, doing layouts for print items. In my spare time, I enjoy improving and expanding my library of programming languages, playing with my kids, and, when I have time, painting or drawing.
I graduated from Pensacola Christian College with degrees both in commercial art and graphic design, and went to work for A Beka Book Publishing as a production artist. I got my feet wet in the computer programming waters writing little AppleScripts to automate the more mundane aspects of my job, and ended up swimming in the deep end, working in languages such as PHP, Perl, Java, Ruby, and Cocoa. Eventually, I was transferred from the art department to become the Computer Technician for the entire Publishing area, developing in-house projects to increase efficiency and improve work-flow. While I admit that a computer programming artist/designer is a bit of a rarity, I have thoroughly enjoyed the diversity.
